Everyday Makeup for Indian Skin + pigmentation

June 14, 2017

My skin is far from perfect thanks to hormones, PCOS and a gazillion other reasons but it’s a work in progress. I have hyperpigmentation around my mouth and I’ve been breaking out lately so I now have to cover up scars too! Tarte Shape Tape in the shade Medium has been by holy grail product for months, I don’t bother with foundation just because I get so much coverage out of this concealer. It’s buildable so on some days I apply it with a beauty blender or brush for a more natural look and on other days (like in this video), I use my fingers for maximum coverage and the heat from my fingers makes sure it blends well. The only con about this concealer is that after a few hours in this Dubai heat, it separates on my nose and chin and oxidizes a bit in some areas- it’s something I fix with a foundation brush and a light dusting of powder but I’m not outdoors often so it’s a con I can live with.

I hope this video is helpful in some way, and here’s a list of all the products I used (links are affiliate links).
