60s Inspired Shift Dress

June 5, 2017

Geez, I look so much like my mom in these photos, maybe it’s the 60s inspired shift dress? Anyway, I love this dress. I’ve worn it with flat mules and a crossbody and even trainers- it’s surprisingly comfortable even when the weather is icky and I like that I can just throw it on with no fusses about styling it right. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m all about dresses for summer!

P.S those scratches on my leg are a result of an overdue dog grooming appointment + a very hungry dog when you’re trying to sleep in on the weekend. She has been groomed since and I have learnt my lesson.

  • I am all about dresses for summer too, and shifts are so easy-breezy. I love the ruffled sleeves on this one, and the print gives it a fun retro vibe. And those shoes! What a fabulous and unexpected choice. I’ve also been dabbling in pairing dresses with trainers. It helps a dressy dress feel more casual and wearable for daytime, and since I’m wearing dresses almost daily, it’s nice to have shoe options that totally change up the vibe.

  • Oh wow, I loves eet! You are beautiful, and of course, digging the dress and hoops a lot… I have not bought any new jewellery in ages (hoarder + currently broke) but yeah, I have been meaning to get a pair of those really big but nice, thin gold ones. I have two pairs from my high school days but they are silver and though they still look good, I do not wear silver jewellery anymore. Wow, just volunteered random, unasked-for info.!
