Asos Curve Swing Dress

February 17, 2014

I am so self conscious in these photos and the video because my skin is going through some weird break out, it’s like reliving the horrors of being a teenager all over again! I’m not sure what triggered it, but it’s so bad I ordered the Elemis S.O.S cream even though the price tag is a bit ouch. Thankfully, I scored a good deal on Amazon so I’ll keep you posted. It’s worked miracles before so I took pictures to document a before and after blog post for you.

Getting back to today’s #ootd, this is my go to ‘lazy weekend’ dress. Flip flops, boots or pumps, it doesn’t matter, the swing dress is so easy to style because it looks good on almost every body type. I’d just recommend throwing on some statement jewellery to dress it up.

I’m also wearing one of my new favourite lipsticks, I can’t believe I didn’t think of purchasing this cult beauty product before. I really have been missing out!

  • You look beautiful! Nothing at all to worry about, but I hear you, my face lately has just been a pain!

    • I guess it’s just more stressful because it’s the one place we can’t cover up, but thank you 🙂

  • Curvily NYC

    Those rings! Those booties! <3

    • Thank you! both were lucky scores 🙂

  • I do not see anything on your face, Luanne! But still I can empathise. I very recently had a very major breakout, the worst I’ve had in five years at least. It was probably hormonal so not much I could do, but my confidence was absolutely shot & I looked at my face at least 5 times a day. It sucks 🙁 It cleared in about a month (I think the La Roche Posay effaclar duo helped a wee bit). I hope this cream helps, I’m sure whatever it is, it will clear out soon enough.

    • I’m glad to report it’s actually working, that’s what I love about the sos cream, I see results by the next day. I am constantly checking my face in any reflective surface through out the day lol. I have hormonal break outs too but they’re just one or two, nothing a little concealer can’t fix but this was like an acne beard or smtg, uff! Thanks Magali <3

  • I’m well overdue for a new jacket and I love the detail on it. You look amazing and I really love the video you added as well, sometimes we need to see how the stuff flows on our body types because lord knows the model that Asos uses are gorgeous but don’t always cut it for me. I can’t believe those boots are payless either.

I love everything about this, but especially those heels/boots. Sooo cool.
