I used to visit Creekside Japanese Restaurant at Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel a lot when I was younger, they have a phenomenal sushi buffet along with teriyaki and tepenyaki stations, and amazing desserts. I don’t usually do food events but when their invite to a Valentine’s Day Lunch and Cooking Demonstration landed in my inbox, I couldn’t resist! It turned out to be the perfect mother- daughter date. The food was spectacular, desserts were just as heavenly and my mom even took part in the cooking demo. It was wonderful to meet the chefs who were more than willing to share their cooking secrets and the staff were so attentive. We had heaps of fun and were very spoiled!
Lobster, tuna and salmon tartar, crème fraiche, Caspian sea caviar, Champagne berry emulsion
Grilled corn fed young chicken breast, gratin potatoes, wild rucola, tallegio fondue
Oven roasted Angus fillet, seared foie grass, white truffle oil infused morel jus
Pan fried black cod, bok choy, spiced mango- passion fruit coulis
Decadent chocolate and hazelnut mille feuille, Forest berry love basket, Raspberry sorbet
How beautiful and creative is this? I frikkin’ loved dessert, too pretty to eat but that Raspberry sorbet was calling my name!
My mama being a pro 😀 I’m too uncoordinated to try to cook in front of so many people hehe
Thanks to the Sheraton team for such a memorable lunch, we’ll be seeing you again! I might treat the bf to a romantic dinner at Sheraton Creek’s Vivaldi for Valentine’s Day 🙂
