Christmas Outfit

December 29, 2010

Compliments of the season, happy holidays and every other seasonal wish 🙂
I hope your Christmas season is going well! We had a lovely Christmas party at home with friends and colleagues, cooked turkey, sang and mingled. Having everyone over made me feel a lot less homesick about Goa and my folks are coming back in a week anyway.
I found this dress in my closet while I was moving- I’ve never worn it before and I completely forgot about it. It must be a year old at least.
I am loving everyone’s Christmas looks, the problem is I keep checking blogs from work and can’t always comment (speed blog hopping at it’s best + office work) but trust me, the bloggers go all out for Christmas! One of my faves in particular is Tiffany, girl is a rockstar!
Are you making any resolutions for the new year? I never do but this time I’ve made a few for my blog- you’ll see soon 🙂
Can you believe there are just two more days for the next year? 2010 just flew by, geez. I’m sad to see it go because it was/is an amazing year for me, I was very blessed and lucky.
Fingers crossed that 2011 will be another amazing yearRed heart
P.S our lucky winner of the We Love Colors giveaway is Vanessa from Chicken Soup for the Dorky Soul! YAY!

    loving the outfit!!! very cute!!!

  • oh Weesha, you look so beautiful and festive! and how fun to find a gorgeous new dress just sitting in your closet for no $$$. Merry Christmas, indeed ; ) i especially love those shoes, they add a great pop to your look and 'tie in' so nicely with the dress.

i'm sorry to hear about your relationship 'bumps'…..but blending families takes a lot of work and finesse. it never goes smoothly, even when it's working out for the best. kudos to you for sticking with it and not bailing just because things get a little sticky. and for not expecting 'fairyland perfection' from real people.

Happy New Year & i'm looking forward to what you've got up your sleeve!!! take care, steph

  • You look STUNNING! I'm digging the dress with the blazer – it gives it a little edge – and those shoes are just to die for.
    Happy New Year!

I have a (stupid) question. Is it allowed in dubai to wear mini dresses or skirts, i thought that woman have to cover their body with long dresses…
Sorry for my bad bad english i have no practice:))
I love your blog and your style
Best wishes from good old germany:))

  • Hello 🙂 A lot of people ask me this question!

Dubai is a little less conservative than other cities, a lot of girls wear short skirts, dresses, etc. but you can't wear things like bikini tops or anything else that is too revealing. As long your outfit isn't too revealing, it's fine. It's not compulsory to wear long skirts and head scarves as majority of the population are from the West, Asia and Dubai has many tourists.
