I remember buying this dress when I was a teenager and I never wore it because I hated how big I looked in it.
I wore it for the first time today and I think it makes me look big and cute so pfft teenage Weesha.
Pretty Lesa from Always Summer tagged me with 8 questions. The rules are to answer 8 questions and then make up 8 new ones and tag 8 others.
1. Would you rather get dressed up for a fancy party or hang out in jeans with a few friends?
Well, ignoring the fact that I rarely do jeans, I would prefer chilling out with a few friends 🙂
2. What was the last book you have read? Did you love it or hate it?
The last book I read was Mia Tyler’s Creating Myself. I loved it. as I usually do with all things related to Mia Tyler.
However, It’s not a book about a fat girl dealing with issues, it’s about a human being dealing with issues and overcoming them. Being chubby was the least of her problems, it’s about her dealing with drug abuse, turbulent relationships and finding herself. So, it’s not a book you should get if you’re looking for a something about body acceptance but it’s definitely worth a read for inspiration about having the strength the pick yourself up from rock bottom.
3. Jackie O or Marilyn Monroe?
Jackie O because she was famous for being a strong, classy and incredibly stylish woman.
4. Favorite band/singer of all time?
Red Hot ChilI Peppers! It’s been a dream for me to see them live but I was recently informed that they’ve stopped touring 🙁 Booooo.
5. Do you like thrift shopping or getting great deals at the mall? (you can only choose one)
Well, there aren’t any thrift shops in Dubai so great deals at the mall it is. I live for sales and bargains 🙂
6. What is the greatest/most interesting place you have ever been?
Thailand. Apart from Thai food being my favourite cuisine, it’s a beautiful place and a lovely cultural experience. Visiting the tiger temple is one of the to do things on my list but I will definitely be skipping the elephant farms where they make them do stupid human tricks.
7. Would you wear vintage? Why or why not?
Definitely, I think vintage has a quality and history of it’s own. Nothing beats one of a kind.
8. What is the predominate colour in your closet?
Sadly, black. I wore too much black in my teenage years so searching for a black skirt will result in me pulling out 10 black skirts until I find the one I was looking for.
Alright, so my 8 questions for you are:
What would you ask for if a genie granted you 3 wishes?
What are 3 things you love the most about yourself?
Who is your style icon?
Do you have a favourite quote or any words of wisdom to share?
When you were a kid, what did you want to become when you grow up?
5 years from now, when you look back at this phase in your life, what do you think you’ll say?
What kind of music are you into?
What is the most important lesson you have learnt in you life so far?
and I tag these LUCKY ladies!! haha
(because I’m curious, I’m breaking the rules a bit)
